John Wall

The player to watch out for in the NBA right now is John Wall. I think he really has the ability and talent to be a top-tier point guard. In the current mix of solid point guards among them, Derrick Rose, Deron Williams, Jason Kidd, and Chris Paul, I think John Wall has a much brighter future ahead of him than Rose, Williams, Kidd, or Paul. Wall's intangibles are much better than Derrick Rose. His ability to create shots off the dribble is vastly improving, if not unimproved. I think Wall's weaknesses in basketball at the point guard position is far overshadowed by his strengths. I really think that John Wall's strengths are much more stronger and far superior than Rose, Williams, Kidd, or Paul. His athleticism can match up with Derrick Rose. That's not an issue. What Wall has that Rose does not is that he wants to win at will. Rose has the will to win. Wall is far more capable of winning more last-second shots than Rose will in his NBA career. Although Deron Williams is not capable of producing much athleticism, both Williams and Wall have exceptional basketball skills, although I think I may be biased if I pick Wall to be the better basketball player over Williams. Wall's ability to shoot the basketball, use his speed to blow by defenders, his athleticism to outjump most of the athletes in the building, and ability to play lockdown defense may be what separates himself from Jason Kidd. Although Kidd is a great overall player who knows how to make the correct play on offense and on defense, either way Kidd is a great player with instincts who knows how to play basketball the right way. He may not have athleticism the way John Wall does, but he manages to play basketball smoothly and the right way effectively. Both Wall and Paul have great passing skills, but Paul doesn't really have the scorer's mentality the way Wall carries himself to put the ball in the basket. Wall is better than Paul at the PG position, because he is more dynamic and explosive than Paul is at scoring, passing, rebounding, and playing defense. Paul has good footwork for a PG as well as skills, but Wall is far superior with his athleticism.
