NBA Fantasy Team #5
I gave up on David Harrison. I picked up free agent D.J. Mbenga, a third-string reserve center. He is an excellent athlete on running on the break and playing defense. He is also a good rebounder as well. He will play behind Earl Barron, my backup center. Barron's the type of center who will set good picks and run the floor to get a basket easily. Jacque Vaughn will get minutes, but barely behind Steve Blake. Vaughn will be a consummate locker room guy, whose professionalism and veteran leadership puts everyone in line. His knowledge and basketball IQ will be valuable tools for my team's success. Donta Smith's offensive value is more important than his defensive value. Donta has tremendous upside on his offense and I hope it will overlook his defense. Ronny Turiaf is my backup power forward behind Eduardo Najera. I hope Turiaf will find a way to contain opponents with his physicality and defense and rebounding. Shannon Brown will find minutes in the rotation behind Matt Barnes. Brown's offense and defense are both equally valuable to my team. Wilson Chandler is another type of player whose offense and defense are equally valuable to my team as well. Chandler is a superb athlete, just like Brown. Najera's rebounding and defense are key for my team's energy as Najera will provide. He will also give hustle, heart, and desire too. Blake and Barnes are my bench's valuable reserves. Both Barnes and Blake will give scoring and play solid defense. Jeff Foster is still my starting center, whose defense and rebounding are tops. Al Harrington will remain my starting 4, whose athleticism and scoring is valued. Mike Miller's shooting is tops, as well as his rebounding. J.R. Smith and Kirk Hinrich are my starting shooting and point guards respectively. Their combined rebounding and scoring are valuable for a backcourt duo like Smith and Hinrich.

NBA Fantasy Team #4
I traded Kendrick Perkins the other night for Earl Barron. Then I got rid of Paul Davis and got David Harrison. I got an athletic center in Barron who can run pretty well for a big guy and a bruiser and competitor in Harrison. I think my team can be well-built for a couple of big men in Ronny Turiaf and David Harrison. Turiaf and Harrison are going to be a couple of fierce rebounders and defensive players. Harrison is a pretty big guy, he is seven feet and two hundred and eighty pounds. His toughness and fierce spirit will help my team. Barron's athleticism and ability to run the floor will help my team get easy buckets. Donta Smith is still there. He back ups Shannon Brown at the shooting guard spot. Jacque Vaughn is the team's third string point guard and brings a veteran presence to the team. His leadership and professionalism is valued in the locker room. Shannon Brown will bring athleticism and shooting ability to the shooting guard position. Wilson Chandler also brings athleticism as well as shooting ability too. Eduardo Najera will bring toughness, hustle, and heart to my team. His all-around game which is rebounding and defense will definitely help out my team. Steve Blake and Matt Barnes are my top two reserves. Blake plays point, moving Kirk Hinrich to the off-guard position. Blake will handle point guard duties and he is known to be a pesky defender now. Hinrich will handle most of the scoring load now that Blake is the point guard in the game. Barnes has the ability to play defense on almost all perimeter scorers and can play power forward, if needed. His ability to stretch the floor and shoot the three-pointer is a valuable asset to my team. Kirk Hinrich primarily is the point guard, although he can play shooting guard. J.R. Smith is the team's top scoring option and starting shooting guard. You can't go wrong when you need Smith to score. Mike Miller is the team's starting small forward. His valuable three-point shooting is there and he can grab rebounds with the best of rebounders. Al Harrington is one of the most underrated power forwards in the game and he brings an unbelievable three-point shooting range to the table for a talented 4. Jeff Foster's defense and rebounding is key for my team. His defense and rebounding helps my team get rebounds and easy points after misses.

NBA Fantasy Team #3
I traded Keith Bogans yesterday for Donta Smith. I wanted athleticism and I got it. Donta Smith is a terrific athlete, much like Wilson Chandler and Shannon Brown. Donta Smith has got a lot of offensive skill, however I am hoping his athleticism and offensive firepower will overlook his poor defense. Smith will contribute to a starting lineup of mine which I hope can work with a small, athletic lineup with Kirk Hinrich, J.R. Smith, Mike Miller, Smith, and Harrington. This lineup will allow Harrington to use his quickness over bigger players at center and Smith at power forward to use his athleticism over bigger forwards. Miller, Smith, and Hinrich will man the 3, 2, and 1 positions respectively for shooting accuracy and playing perimeter defense. Jeff Foster is still my team's starting center. His defense and rebounding will be my team's valuable big man assets. Matt Barnes, Steve Blake, Eduardo Najera, and Kendrick Perkins are the bench rotation still. Barnes will back up Miller as usual at the small forward spot. Blake will play point and Hinrich will move to shooting guard, therefore sending J.R. Smith to the bench. Najera will back up Harrington at power forward and Perkins spelling Foster at center. Shannon Brown will get playing time behind Smith which is rarely. Ronny Turiaf will spell Najera as the third string power forward. Jacque Vaughn will play point when Blake or Hinrich is out. Paul Davis is still the third string center behind Kendrick Perkins and Jeff Foster. I think my team in fantasy basketball has the potential to beat superstar teams like Chris Bosh, Lebron James, Derrick Rose, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, Amare Stoudemire, and Carmelo Anthony. Why? A team is worth more than a superstar. A team that has role players and are committed to one thing, winning, will surely contribute more to a basketball game than one basketball star. My team is committed to playing defense soundly as a starting unit and on offense, the ball will find its way to the open man and the open man will take the best shot. If my team needs a go-to guy, J.R. Smith is the number one option. Al Harrington is the second option. Kirk Hinrich is the third option. Mike Miller is fourth. You can't go wrong with this team. Look out, superstars! This team needs no basketball star, needs no star ego, needs no leader. Fearless and determined, my fantasy team has the will and power to face any basketball team and win.

NBA Fantasy Team #2
Some changes in my lineup. I got rid of Kelenna Abuzuike and Maurice Evans. Instead of instant offense from Abuzuike and a defense first, scoring second option in Evans, I went for athleticism in a good role player in Shannon Brown and a defensive-minded player in Keith Bogans. The starting lineup still remains the same. Kirk Hinrich is my starting point guard, J.R. Smith is my starting 2-guard, Mike Miller is my 3, Al Harrington at the 4, and Jeff Foster at center. The bench rotation consists of Matt Barnes first backing up Miller at small forward, Steve Blake filling in for ball-handling duties while hitting open shots and playing tough-nosed defense at point guard, and Eduardo Najera, a tough-minded power forward whose energy and hustle will help my team. Wilson Chandler is still my third string small forward, whose value is athleticism and scoring off the bench. Kendrick Perkins is my backup center, whose grit and plodding will be appreciated on my squad. Ronny Turiaf's energy and hustle will be desired behind Najera as the third string power forward. Shannon Brown and Keith Bogans are shooting guard backups. Either one will spell Smith. Jacque Vaughn is the third string PG, whose veteran presence will calm the team with his basketball knowledge of the game and will play the right way, whether it is scoring or passing the ball to the open man or making a defensive play. Paul Davis' inside-outside game will be valued by my squad as he is the third-string center.

NBA Fantasy Team
I'm playing a video game called NBA 2K8 and I have created my own fantasy team with a fantasy NBA Draft. In my team, I have chosen players that are worthy of being a role player on an ordinary team, whether it be a championship team or not. My starting lineup consists of Kirk Hinrich, my starting PG, J.R. Smith, my SG, Mike Miller, a worthy starting SF, Al Harrington at PF, and Jeff Foster, at C. None of my starters have been voted an NBA All-Star, neither have they won MVP awards or been on the All-NBA team. They are all role players, worthy of having a quality that will contribute to the overall team game I want to incorporate in my fantasy game. These starters are worthy of playing a team game and beating an superstar caliber team that would have Lebron James or a Dwyane Wade or a Chris Bosh or a Chris Paul in it. It wouldn't happen in an actual basketball game, because James' talent and Wade's and Bosh's are too strong for my fantasy team. Depending on the day, I think my fantasy team has a shot at beating a a star-studded basketball team that has Tim Duncan and/or Amare Stoudemire in it. If you've noticed, Hinrich, Smith, Miller, and Harrington are all three-point shooters. I hope to bank on the fact that Smith, Hinrich, Miller, and Harrington are able to use their speed and three-point shooting ability to their advantage. I also hope to bank on the fact that Miller, Harrington, Hinrich, and Smith are also ACCURATE three-point shooters and they will burn opposing defenses with their shooting and from three-point range. Foster will man the middle and play tough defense and get those boards to help Smith, Miller, Harrington, and Hinrich run and put the ball in the basket on the other end. Miller, Smith, Harrington, and Hinrich are capable also of rebounding the ball and playing tough man-to-man defense. Their ability to stretch the floor and shoot the three pointer will be an asset to playing them on defense. My bench has Matt Barnes, a capable starting small forward, but he will be Miller's backup. Barnes will provide toughness, defense, tenacity, energy, and hustle for my team. When left unguarded, Barnes can shoot the lights out of the gym. Watch out for Barnes' shooting touch. Steve Blake is Hinrich's backup PG. Blake has the capability of breaking down team defenses with his penetration and can score when called upon. He can give you defense and toughness on both ends of the floor. When you have Blake and Hinrich on the floor together, you have a savvy defensive combination of a duo. Blake will handle the ball handling duties, play defense, and find the open man. He will shoot when he is given the open shot. When Blake draws double-teams because of his penetration, Hinrich will be given the green light to shoot. This will give Kirk opportunities to score points because of Blake's penetration. Eduardo Najera is Al Harrington's backup PF. His grit, heart, desire, and hustle is Najera's game. He will give you all-out hustle and energy to help you win the game. He has a jump shot and a three-pointer to add to his game as well. If you leave him open, you will pay for his shot-making. Kelenna Azubuike is Smith's backup at shooting guard. Azubuike is a superb athlete who can put the ball in the basket. He is not a willing passer, but I am hoping his defense and athleticism to stop perimeter scorers will overlook that. Wilson Chandler is the third string small forward behind Matt Barnes. Chandler is an above-average athlete. He has the ability to put the ball in the basket and play outstanding defense. His basketball IQ is quite high and he has knowledge of the game is quite good. Kendrick Perkins is Foster's backup center. I like to think of Perkins as an enforcer. His muscle and grit will help my team get rebounds, his ability to play defense with desire and get garbage points will help my team win games. He may not be athletic and fast, but his plodding will make up for it. Maurice Evans is my team's third string SG. He is an athlete capable of being a terrific defender, all the while having a good shooting touch from three-point range. Ronny Turiaf is the team's third string power forward. He has a lot of heart and hustle in his game. He brings a lot to the defense with his toughness and rebounding. However, his offense needs refinement though, but I am hoping his toughness and rebounding will overlook that and get him to score his garbage points by getting rebounds. Jacque Vaughn is my team's third string point guard. He has a high basketball IQ and knows how to play basketball the right way. He will pass the ball to an open teammate and will shoot when he is open. He is unselfish and is a consummate teammate. Paul Davis is the team's third string center. He is a serviceable center whose duties will be playing defense and getting rebounds. He has an average inside-outside game. He's got a serviceable jump shot when he's left open.
